Insightful magazine for the amateur astronomer
"This monthly magazine gives the amateur almost all the information he may need for his observing sessions (one absent feature is the times the Great Red Spot in Jupiter passes the meridian, but that can be found in another amateur astronomy magazine). The articles are aimed at a nonprofessional level of expertise in the field - you don't need postgraduate training in physics and higher mathematics to understand them. The graphics are uniformly helpful. The columnists are always fun to read (the Berman viewpoint stands out!). The tiresome promotions of atheism seem to have disappeared. Overall, a subscription well worth obtaining."
